The acolyte Hotel Booking System allows visitors to your website to quickly and easily book rooms online. Our clients tell us acolyte is faster, easier to use and more configurable than competing products such as Webhotelier.
Through our unique link to the Booking Booster channel manager your rates and availability can be shared with over 100 of the most important travel agents.
We offer a "standalone" service where a link from your website is added to take guests to our server for booking before returning them to your site. Alternatively we can build you a website with Acolyte integrated within it. The standalone website is "skinned" to be in keeping with your own website.

How the system works
1) You keep your room rates and availability on the Booking Booster channel manager rather than on various different agent websites (Booking.com, Expedia etc).

The Booking Booster channel manager does the work of passing your rates and availability to your agents for you.

2) When a customer visits your own website, they click on a booking link and are presented with a window within which they can choose a room and the dates of their stay.
The room choices available come direct from the room choices that you have supplied to Booking Booster and can therefore be changed by you as often as you like. Any number of different rate plans and promotional rate rooms can be represented.
3) As soon as the customer makes their search the booking system asks Booking Booster if the rooms are available for the specified dates and shows its findings on screen as below:

4) The search results show the availability of the room (or rooms) on each of the days of the customer’s stay and also for a few days either side.
The search results also show the rate of the room on each day to allow the customer to adjust their choice based upon room rate.
5) Once the customer has found a stay that is to their liking they are presented with a summary.
6) What happens next is again customisable. You may wish to have your customers do any of the following. All are catered for within the system:
- Pay in full.
- Pay a deposit based on a percentage of the total cost.
- Pay for the cost of one night’s stay.
- Pay a fixed deposit amount.
- Not pay anything, with the room being “on request only”.
- Securely provide credit card details for payment at a later date.
If the customer is to make payment, again this is customisable. The options are:
- Direct the customer to a payment provider such as PayPal, WorldPay etc.
- Securely take the customer’s credit card and contact details to allow you to complete the transaction yourself as and when required.
7) After paying, providing their credit card details or lodging their request, the customer is finally taken to a confirmation screen and sent an email summarising their transaction. This email will appear to come from your hotel and will contain your contact details and your terms and conditions. You can give us your own customised text to add to the email.
At the same time, the booking system will send all of the details of the booking to the Booking Booster channel manager so that it is appraised of the transaction and can adjust your rates and availability accordingly.
8) Finally acolyte will send you and your guest an email detailing the booking which will include a link to allow you to view your bookings in Booking Booster itself.

How Do I Sign Up?
If you are an existing Booking Booster customer or want to use Booking Booster to manage your channels as well as acolyte then you need to ask Booking Booster to add acolyte to your channels and we will contact you to complete the process. If you want to use Booking Booster as a channel manager and are not yet signed up you can sign up to Booking Booster here.

Alternatively if you want to use Booking Booster for FREE and use it to manage acolyte only then click here to sign up to acolyte and we will also sign you up to Booking Booster. Note that you can always start a full Booking Booster subscription at a later date if you wish to start using it to manage your channels.
Set up is quick and easy.
1) Booking Booster add acolyte as an agent for your property.
2) We take the data that Booking Booster have on your room types and associate this with acolyte.
3) We create a custom "skin" (look and feel) for acolyte in keeping with your website. Note that if you are a hotel group you may want to have one common skin used for all websites, just ask.
4) We either give you a link or add a link ourselves to your site depending upon your preference. If you have existing web developers you may want them to add the link or otherwise if you give us the access details we should be able to add it for you in most cases.

What Does All Of This Cost?
For pricing expect between 3 and 5 % on each booking converted by the system. Prices vary depending upon your average room rate and number of rooms on a sliding scale. There is no setup fee or renewal fee.
Prices for our hotel websites start at £1800 with the acolyte integration included in this price.
