Peripatus are currently developing a fully integrated Community portal with an integrated Learning Management system (LMS) as the latest addition to the Booking Booster application. This will give Booking Booster.com a definite edge as the service not yet is available to the hospitality industry as and integrated management tool and as a web app.
The LMS will be based on the Moodle LMS package that Peripatus have delivered successfully to a number of larger organisations in the UK, latest the Go skills. The LMS will feature all the traditional features such as Community Forum for hoteliers to communicate and share ideas. An ideal place for hoteliers to discuss the Channel Management issues amongst your pears, choosing the right agents are a critical part of the day to day business in the hotel industry. This new platform will also allow hoteliers the ability to upload important documentation for their staff, instructions and training material. Basically any form of document such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others can be loaded up to the site and the staff can then access this information conveniently and securely.
Finally the e-Learning aspect of the new part of the application, the LMS will allow hotels to upload online training for their staff, such as safety and health, food and hygiene, but also a series of management and mid management courses, that could improve the hotels business. The courses will be available to download on a per user basis. Peripatus are very excited about this new feature addition, it will definitely further distance the Booking Channel Manager from its competition.
