Re-develop and integrate two hotel Websites, Update Booking Engine and Channel Manager. 

Days Inn Westminster London, forms part of the Days Inn chain, but is independently owned. The family behind Days Inn Westminster own and manage their own web presence. The challenge for us was to drive more corporate clients to the hotel and to ensure the existing corporate clients got tied-in online with a membership website that would increase loyalty, new business, introduce business packages and loyalty discounts.

The solution

The team designed and built Days Inn London. We integrated with the Peripatus Booking Engine and added Booking Booster Channel Manager capabilities.

  • A brand new CMS driven, corporate website that dove-tails directly with the Existing Days Inn Westminster site.
  • This allowed the hotel to have two different approaches in their marketing, one route directly aimed at tourists and the general public, and one much more focused approach toward the corporate clients.
  • The two sites basically share the same framework and the new Booking engine developed by Peripatus integrates directly with Booking Booster.
  • Booking Booster fully integrates with the Peripatus Booking engine. This gives the hotel the ability to update the site with rates and availability and at the same time deploy rates to all their 17 agents.
  • The customers signing up for membership is automatically stored in a database, that allows the hotel to stay in touch with their valued members. 

The result

  • The hotel now generates more than 20% of their revenue from this channel.
  • The profit Margin has increased with 16% on these bookings.
  • The hotel has built a database of several hundred customers in just 14 months.
  • Following the success of the Web Strategy, the hotel owner now considers becoming an independant hotel, moving away from Days Inn and thereby saving royalty fees, improving the profit margin even more.
