Why "Peripatus" ?

Peripatus is a wiggly worm and as such perhaps a curious choice for a company name.  We chose peripatus for many reasons.  It is the root of the word "peripatetic", meaning "able to perform many task at once"; "Peripatus" is "The Wanderer" which kind of fits in with our connections to the travel industry and also the "velvet worm" as it is known is a missing link between two of the main evolutionary branches and a survivor of a biological design that has lasted for millions of years.  So there you go!
